...more than just pizza (but trust us, there's still pizza)

The purpose of youth ministry is to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.

In our world today we are seeing the highest numbers of youth with anxiety, depression, and hopelessness than ever before. Teens are fighting battles that generations before them have never had to fight. But what are some of the stats?

  • Roughly 36% of Gen Z identify as “Christian”
  • 79% of former Catholics leave the Church before age 23 (Pew Research)
  • Estimates for ever having a diagnosis among children aged 3-17 years, in 2016-19:
  • Anxiety 9.4% (approximately 5.8 million)
  • 36.7% had persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness and 18.8% seriously considered attempting suicide. (cdc.gov)

We know and believe that Jesus is the answer---He is the solution. When a teenager encounters Jesus through the beauty of the Catholic faith and begins to live as a disciple, we believe that they will transform their family, parish, community, and eventually, our culture. They are the Church here and now, not just the future of the Church!

Our Youth Ministry Program is designed to be a place where your teens can:

  • be formed in their faith through talks, retreats, small groups, etc.
  • cultivate their prayer life through Adoration, worship, Lectio Divina, etc.
  • find and build community through games, good food, community events, etc.
  • be invested in and accompanied by amazing Catholic young adults
  • come alive in their faith!
